This blog has pictures from our travels along highway 160 through southern Colorado. This was during the fall of 2015.
There is not too much to write about as the pictures are the story.
The fall foliage was in full color during our ride.
Plenty of scenery all around.
Once at the top you get to Wolf Creek Pass. This is the Continental Divide which marks which way the water that falls will flow – East or West.
Gorgeous views along the way.
This stands out as a point of interest. I think they were being nice by calling it Chimney Rock.
Even the cities have some interesting sights.
Just a beautiful drive.
The pictures say most of it. We would recommend a drive through the Rockies when the weather will allow. Winter can be very bad so consider the weather before heading out.
