Located a short distance off of I-25 about an hour south of Pueblo, Colorado sits the “town” of Ludlow, Colorado.
To find it turn down this gravel road and look for the run down buildings on the left. The area is best known for a 1914 massacre (see memorials for more info).
Our visit was in the fall and as you can see it was a beautiful day.
While it is a nice area to photograph, do not trespass.
There are a few buildings still standing – or should I say, barely standing.
The beautiful fall day brought some gorgeous sunflowers. Got some great close-ups of them.
Not sure why this is an abandoned town. The view across the street is surreal.
We visited during a great day. Worth a trip just for the photos.
